In partnership with Norwich Institute for Language Education
Some customers elect to train their personnel in the UK so that they benefit from immersion in the English-speaking environment and are able to focus on professional development away from the distractions of the workplace. To support such customers, we are proud to partner with Norwich Institute for Language Education (NILE). We provide the following classroom training with NILE:
Rater and test developer training
Teacher training, syllabus design and materials development
English language training for ATCOs, cadet pilots and other aviation personnel.

Training in Norwich
Our courses with NILE are delivered at DELTA House, NILE's first-class training centre in the beautiful cathedral city of Norwich, about two hours north-east of London by train. With a population of just over 200,000, Norwich is largest urban area in East Anglia and is the most complete medieval city in the United Kingdom. Norwich features cobbled streets and historical buildings, museums where you can wander and learn, modern architecture and art and green spaces for walking, cycling and picnics.
Norwich is one of the UK's top ten shopping destinations, with a mix of chain retailers and independent stores, and Norwich Market is one of the largest outdoor markets in England. In May 2012, Norwich was designated England's first UNESCO City of Literature. One of the UK's popular tourist destinations, it was voted by The Guardian in 2016 as the "happiest city to work in the UK" and in 2013 as one of the best small cities in the world by The Times Good University Guide. In 2018, 2019 and 2020, Norwich was voted one of the "Best Places To Live" in the UK by The Sunday Times. Find out more about Norwich here.
Travel and accommodation
To fully benefit from time in the UK, we recommend that course participants stay in homestay accommodation which we are pleased to arrange on request. There are, of course, many hotel and bed and breakfast options in the city centre area and we offer advice and support with all types of accommodation. We can also advise on travel to and from Norwich and arrange airport transfers on request.
