Quality and support

We are committed to providing quality aviation English assessments and to helping our customers and candidates understand and use them. The documents below provide information on Checkpoint and are intended primarily to help flight schools, colleges and universities decide if Checkpoint meets their language assessment requirements. The documents may also be of interest to other stakeholders in aviation training such as students, student sponsors, English language instructors, aviation assessors and training managers.

In 2022, in collaboration with Lancaster University in the UK and with funding from the UK Economic and Social Research Council, we completed a revision of the Checkpoint speaking assessment. The revised version of the speaking assessment has been launched with existing customers and is reflected in the documents below.
