How the toolkit works

Start up

Latitude provides an initial 5-day training session for your personnel at your preferred location. During training, you can customise test specifications, content and materials and SOPs to meet national regulatory requirements and your own operating requirements under the expert guidance of a Latitude trainer. In addition, as a user of the Latitude testing toolkit, you will rename the test and add your branding at your discretion.

Regulatory approval and test quality

Once you have established a language testing service with the Latitude Testing Toolkit, you may then submit to the national regulator for approval. As the Latitude Testing Toolkit is designed to enable you to operate a independent language testing service, submission for regulatory approval is managed by you and any subsequent approvals held by you.

Ongoing support

Along with initial set up services, Latitude also offers the following additional support products and services to toolkit users

  • New test materials
  • Initial training for new test personnel
  • Recurrent training for existing test personnel
  • Workshops in investigating test validity and reliability
